NEW CONTEST!!!

Okay, here is the new contest. This is an easy one. I am redoing my photo cards and hang tags for my spring/summer trunk shows. I need your help. All you have to do is send me pictures of your cute kiddos wearing any spring or summer Stroke of Jean-yus designs and you will be entered in the contest one time for each photo entry.
The contest will end on April 15th. So, start early. The winner will receive their choice of any 11x14 canvas room art. You chose the design and colors to match your child's room decor.

NEW CLOTHING OPTIONS

Just wanted to share some new clothing options for you for spring. I now have these cute knit dresses that are great for your favorite characters. I have these in several colors as well as polka dots and stripes. I will probably not be listing these and have limited sizes and colors. Let me know if you are interested. Have a great day. LONG TIME, NO POST!

I have not had much extra time lately to blog. I have been really busy with orders, and the kids.

Be on the lookout for the new sneak peek of the canvas wall art and retro designs that I will be posting On March 1st. A lot of you have asked for Tink and The Fairies, lately. Here is a short set that I recently did for someone. This design can be done on just about any style of clothing

HELLO FRIENDS!!!

I hope everyone had a great Valentines Day and got lots of goodies. I have been busy here working on lots of new designs and canvas wall art for childrens rooms. I will be listing some of those samples here on March 1st.

I am also working on several "old school" designs as my children would say. I have an Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo, Jungle Book, Peter Pan, Bambi and I can't remember what else??? But, look for those soon. And, as always, I welcome your design ideas.

NEW CONTEST!!

Okay everyone, I had so many fun entries for the design your own set contest, that I am going to do it again. But, this time there is a theme. The theme for this month with be anything summer. Be creative, this can include anything from cool summer treats, vacations, or just having fun in the sun. Clothing choices will include, jeans, capris, shorts, skirts, shortalls or skirtalls. And, shirt choices can be tee or tanks. Be specific in your design and include color choices, detailed design and you can always include a sketch. I will have my panel of boutique moms judge the designs and post the winner on March 25! so, have fun and feel free to enter as many times as you would like.

Also, I have a few dates left for the trunk shows if you are still interested, just let me know and I will tell you what dates I have available.

NEW LINE-CANVAS WALL ART

I am excited to announce that on April 1st, I will begin offering canvas wall art and tote bags. The wall art will available in any design and ready to hang with lots of ribbon and fun. Look for a sneak peek in 2 weeks. It will be available in a variety of sizes and the design possibiities are endless.

I wanted to share a few new designs with you and let you know about some upcoming events.

Be sure to check back on February 20th, when the new contest will be announced. Also, beginning March 1st , I will begin introducing new designs. This will be a weekly feature. Some of you have asked and I now have white boutique hairbows that I can paint to match any of your custom sets as well as lots of other boutique hairbows.

The Weekends Already Over???

Aww, this weekend went way too fast. The weather was so pretty here in Houston this weekend. We had 78 and 79 degree temps. Hope everyone had a great weekend too.

Several of you have contacted me about doing a trunk show in your homes. Basically, you would receive a shipment of about 20 designs and all of the essentials to host a Stroke of Jean-Yus home party. You would act as the representative and take orders and earn free clothing and credits. I have not really thought through all of the details yet but since some of you have asked, I thought I would see if anyone else would be interested. This would probably begin in May. If you would be interested in hosting a home party, just let me know. You can email me with any questions and if you have a tentative date between May 1st and October 1st that you would like to reserve and an estimate of number of party guests, let me know. I am trying to decide how many I would need in order to begin preparing materials. I am still in the information gathering stage. I had never thought about it until a couple of you asked. Thanks for all of your continued support!
